How long have you been in racing?
Since I was 10

How did you get started in racing?
My dad has always been involved in racing, and still is. I learned a lot of what I know from him.

What are your duties at the shop?
As a crew chief, I oversee operations in the shop, set-up and prepare race cars, go to the 7-post, K-rig and wind tunnel and work to improve our race cars.

What are your duties at the track?
I get the car through technical inspection, oversee the crew, call changes and make decisions about the car’s set-up, and what the next adjustment will be.

Your favorite NASCAR track and why?
Darlington because of its history, it’s not like anywhere else that we race and it’s close to home.

How do you spend your free time?
I don’t really have a lot of free time; I am always busy with something.

Favorite non-motorsports activity
Salt water fishing.

Who is your favorite driver you have worked with and why?
Sterling Marlin. He has a great personality, and was always fun to be around.

Favorite (non-motorsports) team?
Carolina Panthers

I don’t have an IPOD but I listen to a lot of different music. I don’t have a favorite.

What is your proudest racing moment?
Becoming a crew chief before the age of 30.

What is your proudest non-racing moment?
Keeping a good relationship with my family and girlfriend given my hectic life style.

What is the one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I own a hair salon.
