Fast & Fun Facts:
• Townley hopes to carry his momentum forward to Lowe’s Motor Speedway this weekend… Although the 19-year-old rookie only has five top-20 finishes he has scored two in just the last three races.
• The North Carolina area is a big market for Zaxby’s with 49 stores in this state alone and two within 3 miles of Lowe’s Motor Speedway. Therefore, RAB Racing would like to welcome 5 franchisees this weekend as guest’s of the team. Without them we could do not be doing what we love, racing.
• RAB Racing is coming home. As most teams are, RAB Racing will be having a “Homecoming” this weekend. After 19 races over a five month period, the Zaxby’s race team will enjoy a home game this weekend at LMS. RAB Racing’s 40,000 sq. foot facility is just 6 miles from the speedway.

This Week’s No. 09 Zaxby’s Ford: John Wes Townley will pilot chassis No. 037 in this weekend’s Dollar General 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. This is a new chassis and has not been raced this season.

John Wes Townley at Lowe’s Motor Speedway: Townley has one start at the 1.5-mile quad oval. The Watkinsville, GA native started 43rd and finished 27th in the 2008 Dollar General 300.

Season Review: After 30 of the 35 scheduled events on the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule, John Wes Townley has 21 starts including one top-10 and five top-15’s. The rookie also has five top-20 and nine top-25 finishes.

Points Check: The hard fought top-20 finish at Auto Club Speedway for Townley moved him up two positions to 27th in the driver point standings and one spot in the 2009 owner point standings to 32nd; 377 markers behind 31st and 379 points outside the top-30.

Rookie Race: Townley currently remains 7th in the 2009 Raybestos Rookie of the year battle.

We’re Guessing He Signs His Name Fast Too: John Wes Townley will join other NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers for an autograph session on Friday, October 16th from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on pit road prior to qualifying.
